Check-in was... different. i had to walk through a crowded bar to find it. standing around with my bags wasn't the best start. also, the room got quite warm, and opening the window meant dealing with street noise. It wasn't exactly peaceful.

the staff was friendly and accomodating when I spoke with them. I loved that the room provided dressing gowns. the bar had a nice atmosphere and the food was lovely there.

the room was on the ground floor and faced a back street. people could see directly into the room, so blackout curtains were a must.

the room featured fluffy towels, a hairdryer, and straighteners. a big bed and a nespresso machine were great additions. the fridge was well stocked, which i found very convenient! it seemed like a real treat.

The access to rooms felt a bit odd, through narrow service stairs near the kitchen, and it wasn't easy with luggage. There was no lift to help.

the location was good to get around town. i appreciated there were many water bottles in my room. the decor in the rooms are beautiful, it felt very luxurious.

the check in process was not ideal, as i had to walk through a crowded bar area. it was difficult to find where i needed to go to check in. there wasnt a separate check in area and staff seemed overworked.
